Are you breathing?


Seems like a silly question doesn't it? I can't tell you how many times I have to check to see if I'm breathing......aka....holding my breath. Holding my breath is a trauma response and I recognize when my breathing is off, that I need to change something in my environment quickly, or take time for self care: ground, self-reiki, breathing, etc.


I have worked with several clients teaching them how to be mindful of their breathing. Our breaths is what brings us life.


Don't go through life holding your breath, learn to open up your airways & enjoy life.


Holistic Coaching may help you learn to recognize ways your body is in trauma response and provide you with strategies that can be utilized almost anywhere. I use the strategies myself, when needed, in places like a grocery store, I will take moments to do breathing exercises. I use to get worried people were watching, but I've come to realize most people don't even see other people or care. Hard truth on that sentence, but most have blinders on and would not even notice if you stopped to ground yourself in a busy environment.
