I have 25 years experience in the mental health field. I'm a Holistic Counsellor with a background in Naturopath, a Master's in Exceptionalities, an undergrad degree in Counselling, and Social Sciences.
Both my professional and personal experience and decade long research lead me to create the counselling approach: Interweaving Systems: using Holistic and trauma informed practices and research to aid in regulating the mind, body, and spirit.

This course is an introductory level course, not only for counsellors, but for those who work with clients with trauma.
As energy workers, we often work with individuals with trauma. This course brings a trauma informed lens to your practice, as well as an understanding of the importance of regulating the nervous system.
The course is broken down into the following sections:
Lesson 1: What is Holistic Counselling?
Lesson 2: Defining Trauma Informed Practices.
Lesson 3: Understanding Trauma Responses.
Lesson 4: Understanding Generational Trauma.
Lesson 5: Exploring our Nervous System.
Lesson 6: Somatic Practices
Lesson 7: Interweaving the Chakra System: Exploring the 7 main chakras with a trauma informed lens.
In consultation with ACNN https://www.acnn.ca/en/ Academy of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists of Canada, the course can be part of training hours. This course has been approved for 80 hours.
